Joseph Whittington

1951-2014

Joseph W. Whittington of Palatine, was born on August 27th, 1951, in Arlington Heights, to the late Ray and Blanche (nee Kreusch) Whittington. He passed away on Friday, August 1st in Arlington Heights. Joe was a graduate of Wheeling High School (1969) and North Central College (1973). Joe worked as a plumber, plumbing inspector, and was an active union member. Joe was a kind, generous, and witty man who loved spending quality time with family and friends. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Pamela (nee Carson); his children, Ashley (Justin) Barnish and Matthew (Jacqueline) Whittington; his brothers, James (Irene) Whittington and John (Sue) Whittington; his grandson Carson Barnish; nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in law Gloria (nee Peterson) and father-in law Edmund Carson. The family will honor Joe's life in a private celebration at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center, 2050 Claire Court, Glenview, IL 60025 or
