Terrence Patrick "Terry" Guy

Terrence "Terry" Patrick Guy, 52, of Palmetto, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 5, 2010. Terry was born in Long Beach, California on March 14, 1958. Terry worked at Ultimate Air Conditioning, and had been in the Air Con-ditioning industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing and listening to Pink Floyd in his free time. A devoted husband, dad, grandpa, and friend, Terry, is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lorri, and their three children, Scott Drabek, Vicki Guy, and Patrick Guy, six grandchildren, Victoria McGhee, Kaleb Guy, Caity, Brittany, and Kristen Drabek, and the coming soon Gavin Terrence Guy, and a brother, Michael Paglughi. Visitation Saturday, September 11, 2010 start-ing at 10a.m. with services to follow at 11a.m. at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton. A celebration with cherished family and friends will follow in the Fellowship Hall of The Bridge Church, 4000 75th St. W., Bradenton. I just was informed that Kevin Pecka ’76 passed yesterday, April 1, 2010. I confirmed that Kevin did pass away on April 1st after a 5 and a half year battle with brain cancer. The obit will be in the Daily Herald on Wednesday but will be posted on line at an earlier date.  The memorial visitation will be on Saturday April 10th at Kolssak Funeral Home on Milwaukee Avenue in Wheeling from 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 p.m.  We will miss him. 01/26/2010 Sad news just came in. Ken Serowka passed away on 07/30/2009 after a long battle with cancer.

Kenneth Serowka formerly of Wheeling Kenneth Serowka, 51, of Port Richey, Fla., died Thursday, July 30, 2009, after a long battle with cancer. He was born March 1, 1958, to Ed and Marvella Serowka, in Chicago. He is survived by his son, Jason (Nicole) Sharratt; daughter, Crystal Serowka; father, Edward Serowka; two sisters, Pat (Fritz) Ryser and Judy (Gene) Brown; two brothers, Jim (JoAnne) Serowka and Bill (Diane) Serowka; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marvella Serowka. A private memorial service will be held at Glen Oak Cemetery in Hillside.
