Cindy L Coleman Albers has been discovered to
have passed away back in 2008. Cindy spent
her senior year at Wheeling High School (1975-1976) after transferring
from Bollingbrook High School. She was a member of the Wheeling High
School Concert Choir. Cindy did not have a senior picture in the 1976
yearbook. Here is the obituary Cindy L. Albers, nee Coleman, age 51, of Crystal Lake, IL. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008 at Christian Fellowship Church, 3914 Walkup Road, Crystal Lake. Pastor Ralph Searles will officiate. Cindy was born on Dec. 15, 1956 in Chicago. She passed away on May 10, 2008 at the Centegra Hospice for Northeastern Illinois in Woodstock following an extended illness. Cindy was the first woman distribution salesperson for Wonder Bread. She was an outspoken advocate for truck safety, endearing herself to her fellow drivers. She became disabled as the victim of a mysterious brake failure of her relatively new truck in 1984 shortly after she observed irregularities in the state truck safety inspection program involving company vehicles. Unable to dependably work, she devoted herself to prayer and ministry to anyone sent her way. She was anointed and commissioned as a Prophet of the Lord in 1992, subsequently experiencing a personal encounter with the Spirit of God during which she was marked with a gold crown on a damaged tooth. She obediently allowed the Spirit of God to speak numerous revelatory and encouraging messages through her to pastors, churches, and many individuals, especially young children in whom she delighted. She was an inspiring teacher of Bible Studies, especially on the subject of Spiritual Giftedness during which miraculous signs and wonders abounded. She also effectively counseled many with the truths that were revealed to her, ministering with love and a marvelous wit to all who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband, David P. Albers; her parents, Fred and Lila Coleman; and her sister, Cheryl Waldron. Arrangements were entrusted to the Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory. For information phone 815-252-5095.
