This is a poem that Linda's son Paul
posted on Facebook in Linda's memory:

"Maybe in another life
I could find you there
Pulled away before your time
I can't deal it's so unfair
And it feels
And it feels like
Heaven's so far away
And it feels
Yeah it feels like
The world has grown cold
Now that you've gone away
Leaving flowers on your grave
Show that I still care
But black roses and Hail Mary's
Can't bring back what's taken from me
I reach to the sky
And call out your name
And if I could trade
I would
And it feels
And it feels like
Heaven's so far away
And it stings
Yeah it stings now
The world is so cold
Now that you've gone away
Gone away
Gone away
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Ooh
Yeah ooh-ooh
Oh yeah
I'll save your soul
Woah, yeah, yeah
I reach to the sky
And call out your name
Oh please let me trade
I would
And it feels
And it feels like
Heaven is so far away
And it feels
Yeah, it feels like
The world has grown cold
Now that you've gone away..."
Rest in Peace Linda
06/11/2020 Dean R. Depoy I'm so saddened to report that WHS's first marching band director, Dean R DePoy, passed away 06/11/2020 in FL.
Here is a message one of his sons, Kurt Depoy.
My dad Dean R DePoy passed away this morning here in Florida. I was so blessed to be with him and share several I love you’s last night. He held my hand and told me how much he loved me and my brother Erik DePoy. My heart is broken but I know he’s in heaven today with his 2 precious dogs he loved so dearly. I love this picture, taken a few years ago, showing him so happy. I love you dad and miss you so much. I can’t believe you’re gone.
