News from Nancy
Hogan
I first looked at this website today, better late than never. I
noticed no one has been able to keep up with me because you have me
listed living in my ex-husbands condo. Hope his girlfriend doesn't
mind. :) And with my second husbands last name. Oh well. I've
gone around the block with last names and have arrived back at Hogan
again and yes the math adds up to 2 divorces. Never would have
thought. So moving on, I currently live in Saint Charles, IL, work
for Abbott Laboratories as a safety nurse for tube feeding devices,
have a married son who is 27 and a beautiful unmarried daughter who
I wish would get married. Hard to believe it's been so long since
1974, seems like yesterday. |

Sad news to pass along. Debbie Scanlon Milrarski has
passed away:
|
|
Debbie
R. Milarski A celebration of the life of Debbie R.
Milarski (nee Scanlon), will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Monday, Jan. 21, at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 181 W.
Dundee Road, Wheeling. Heaven received another angel
Jan. 14, 2008. Debbie was born March 30, 1956, to Ted
and Grace Scanlon. She attended Wheeling High School,
where she met her soul mate and love of her life, Wayne
R. Milarski. They shared 28 years together. Her pride
and joy are her three children, Derek, Jamie and
Jennifer. Residing in Vernon Hills, Debbie loved to
contribute to the community in a variety of ways. She
was active at Libertyville High School, raising funds
for the stadium lights where her son Derek played for
the Wildcats. She was active at Vernon Hills High
School, where her daughter Jamie was a gymnast and
daughter Jenni played water polo. For several years she
was the entertainment director for the Vernon Hills
annual Summer Celebration. Having a love for Christmas,
Debbie, along with her family, would sponsor a family
for the holidays. Her love was sports in every way,
shape, and form. She lived for her Chicago Cubbies and
loved to attend the sports events of her nieces and
nephews. Debbie wanted nothing for herself in life
except for the happiness of others. She is survived by
her husband, Wayne; children, Derek, Jamie and Jennifer;
father, Ted C. Scanlon of Wheeling; sisters, Sally Kowal
of Arlington Heights, Penny (Jim) Swift of Elk Grove
Village and Regina (Rick) Weber of Barrington; brothers,
David (Oliva) Scanlon and Paul (Sherry) Scanlon, both of
Wheeling; and sister-in-law, Nancy (Ron) Sullivan of
Crystal Lake. Debbie entered her new life in the loving
embrace of her mother, Grace. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to your favorite charity in
Debbie's honor.
