10/21/2016 Stephen Frederick Sproull I was informed that Stephen Frederick Sproull, passed away more than 20 years ago on 08/05/1996.  I have no details.  There are two other Sproull's that graduated from WHS, older brother David W. Sproull '73, and younger sister Cathy J. Sproull Betourne '76.
10/01/2016 David B Bestvina News came to me while I was back in Chicago for homecoming 2016 that Steven A. Ciolino passed away on 10/01/2016.
PRAIRIE VIEW - Steve A. Ciolino DC, age 60, of Prairie View. Beloved husband of Dru (nee Resner) Ciolino for 24 years in November. Loving dad of Aubrie and Joseph "Joey" Ciolino. Loving son of Joseph and Rena Ciolino. Cherished brother of Jeri (Gerry) Ginter. Brother in-law, uncle, cousin and great friend of many. Steve was an incredible dad, the founder of Touch of Health and very active in the community. Visitation Wednesday 3-8 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling. Life Celebration Service Thursday 11 am at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1111 Elmhurst Road, Prospect Heights, IL. I was just informed by Bob Bestvina ’71 that his younger brother David B. Bestvina passed away in October 26, 2015 after losing a long battle with cancer.  Here is David’s obituary from the Daily Herald:


HANOVER PARK - David B. Bestvina was the beloved husband of Cindy (nee Larson); devoted father of Brad, Matt (Katie) and Kevin Bestvina; loving son of Jean and the late Marvin Bestvina; dear brother of Bonnie (Joe) Schneller, Barbara (Wayne) Leisio, Annie (Jim) Olney, Bob (Terri) and Mark (Denise) Bestvina; and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m. with a Chapel Service at 7 p.m., at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alexian Bros. Radiation and Oncology appreciated. For information, call 630-889-1700.

David had several siblings that went to WHS, Bonnie ’69, Bob, ’71, Mark ’73, and Barbara ’76. There are a lot of pictures of David and his friends and family in the photo gallery on the obituary page.

01/07/2016 Pamela G. Menas Pamela G. Means, PharmD, age 59, of Long Grove. Beloved wife of Lee Mann. Dear cousin of Donna “Buddy” Harper, Cynthia Jacobson, and many others. Loving daughter of the late Mildred Harper Means. She was a proud puppy parent of Ikey and Sammie. She proudly served military veterans at the James A Lovell Federal Health Care Center. Pamela blessed others with her amazing voice in opera houses throughout the country and abroad. Memorial visitation Friday January 15, 2016 1-3pm at Long Grove Community Church, 1110 Robert Parker Coffin Road, Long Grove, IL followed by a 3pm Life Celebration Service.
