Gary L. Tjarks died Sunday, October 27, 2002, at age 64. Mr. Tjarks retired in 1994 after 34 yrs in education which began as a social science teacher and coach in Bartonville Illinois. He came to WHS in 1964 and taught social science and coached basketball and cross country. In 1969 he moved to Forest View HS as dean of students and then served as asst. principal from 1973-1983. He spent the last 10 years of his career as assoc. principal of Prospect HS. A prayer service will be held at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home in Arlington Heights on Saturday at 8:45am followed by 9:30 Mass at Our Lady Of The Wayside Church. |

New address for James Rainer, Jim is living in Cedarburg, WI. Jim passed this information along to share, "I am presently finishing my 32nd year of teaching in the Milwaukee Public Schools. My twin sons are both married but I have no grandchildren as of yet. I am planning on retirement (believe it or not) on August 18, 2003, my 55th birthday. Look forward to hearing from any of my past school mates. " |

Susan Harlin Cozzitarto has moved from Chino Hills, CA to Corona, CA. Susan wanted to share this: "Greetings Fellow Classmates, since December 2001, my husband and I "downsized" from our three-story home in Chino Hills, CA to a one-story new home in Corona, CA. Makes life a lot easier not having to walk up and down those stairs! The joy of our lives is still our grandson, Brandon, who is nearly 1 1/2 years old. Keeps us young too! Found Ron Zullo. Ron is married his high school sweetheart Annmarie Costello '67 and they are living in Salem, WI. Annmarie sent this info, "Married my highschool sweetheart, Ron Zullo '66. Found Jim Tate through Jill Koeppen Stieber '68. Jim is living in Ann Arbor, MI. Jim is married, with one daughter, and just last month, his first granddaughter. " I was a professional musician for over fifteen years, and released a few records (yup, records. The black acetate disc kind!), but have continued doing that only for my own, and several dozen hard-core fans' pleasure." [171]. |

Sad news. Ted Armstrong has passed away. Ted died on Saturday 07/06/2002. A memorial visitation will be on Wednesday 7-10-02 at the Kolssak Funeral Home (1-847-537-6600) from 5-8:30pm.
