Class of 1966 News for the year 2006
09/13/2006 James Rainer Jim Rainer checked in and wanted to share this information:

I retired on August 28, 2003 after 33 years of teaching with the Milwaukee Public Schools. My wife Patti joined me in retirement in 2005. We are both active as Jehovah's Witnesses and presently serve our congregation as full time ministers. I am also an Elder in the Port Washington Congregation and have the privilege of giving Bible based public talks at the local and state level. Our twin sons, Jeffrey and Joseph, are both married and living close to us in Wisconsin. Jeff and his wife Wendy live in Plymouth, Wisconsin and Joe and his wife Diane live in Hartford, Wisconsin. There are no grand children but a wide variety of "pets".

During my 33 years of teaching I was named Teacher of the Year in Wisconsin, traveled for the school system presenting new and innovative ideas throughout the United States, started an in school child care program, participated in over night camping trips with the children over 30 times, traveled with the children throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, and Florida, and received numerous honors throughout my career. I also had the honor of having Richard Simmons, Kristy Yamagoushi and the California Raisins, Chris Burk, all 4 of the local TV networks visit the school for interviews and shows.

Hope all is well with my high school friends and ask that they keep in touch.

08/29/2006 Ren Sanfilip Ren Sanfilip sent along some pictures from his trip to the Philippines from November/December 2005.

I finally got around to sending these pictures. They're from my visit to the Philippines last Nov/Dec. We finally moved into our new townhome. It is around an hour away from Manila. It was not quite finished but needed to get in before school year started. My wife Gina is going into her 2nd semester of her PHD and is working at a nearby university also. My son Justin is a freshman now. My son, Ren Jr. is turning 21 in Nov and he is pursuing a technical career in a local shop in Burlington. I am feeling OK but have to rest more often. I have to go back in for another angiogram and perhaps more surgery. Hope all is well with everyone.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the homecoming. See ya later....Ren
