Sad news for the Class of 1966, Another classmate passed away. Richard
"Dick" Fontecchio passed away on Monday, September 9th. Richard has two
siblings that are also WHS alumni, his brother Jerry, also class of 1966
and younger sister Jane Fontecchio Bates '70. My condolences to the whole Fontecchio family. May Richard rest in peace.

Sad news, Larry Brooks, passed away last night. We all know Larry as
the leader and founder of Life in the Big City, the band that provided the
entetainment at so many of the coke dances at Wheeling High School in the
early years. I do not have any additional details about funeral or
memorial arrangements at this time. Obituary is pending. You may
