08/30/2016 William M. McKee I was notified today that William "Bill" McKee passed away recently on 07/20/2016.  I received this information from Bill's younger brother and WHS alumni Brad McKee '68.  Here was the message I received from Brad:

"On a sad note please note my brother Bill (William Mark McKee class of 1966) passed away last month on July the 20th. On a more pleasant note…aside from his wife and two daughters, the one thing he loved most in life most was fly fishing along with the Blue Herons in Grayling, MI on the Awsable River. As it turned out his last day was doing just that with his wife MJ (Mary Jane) and daughters Megan (Maggie) and Stacia. Caught his last brown trout that morning and went to the great beyond in the presence of his beloved family that night, so don’t think you could have scripted it any better. He’s been ill for last year and we were all prepared for him to go and just thankful he was able to go out in such a beautiful way.

Bill was quite the guy, always was referred to as ‘Boss’ by his friends, quintessential snappy dresser, and had that fabulous white/blond hair that the girls would come in after he got his haircut downstairs at the Randhurst barber shop and pick up locks of it to put in their wallets. He was my big brother whom I always looked up to, who looked out for me, and always had my best interest at heart. I’ll miss him."

Rest in Peace Bill.
