The Class of 1966 Reunion committee uncovered
another classmate who fairly recently passed away.
John has a younger brother Jim who graduated in 1968.
Obituary for Jon C Lemerande
Jon C. Lemerande, age 67, of Baraga passed away
Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Karlsruhe,
Germany on March 27, 1948 the son of Edward and Erica (Schwedes)
Lemerande. Jon graduated from Wheeling High School in Illinois in 1965. He
served in the US Army. Jon married the former Michelle Bochte in Crandon,
WI on January 17, 1981. He had worked at DesRochers Brothers in Baraga as
a machinist until his retirement. Jon was a member of the Baraga American
Legion Post #444. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed hunting,
fishing and working on cars.
Jon is survived by his loving wife Michelle,
children Mathew Bellomy of Laona, WI, Jeremy (Shelly) Lemerande of
Charleston, SC, Sonny Lemerande of 29 Psalms, CA, Rudy Lemerande of
Baraga, Crystal Cooper of Laona, Melissa Wyduksky of Argonne, WI and
Melanie (Joel) Kohlwey of Cedar Rapids, IA, grandchildren McKenna,
Jacquelynn, Zachary, Courtney, Jessalynn Hope, Jade and Logan, great
grandchild Pypper, brother Jim (Vicki) Lemerande of Laona and Linda
(Joseph) Novak of Laona. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and
cousins also survive.
A memorial funeral service was held at 4 p.m.
Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse
with Pastor Judy Mattson officiating. The family greeted friends at the
funeral chapel on Monday from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial
funeral service. Baraga County area veterans, under the direction of the
Baraga American Legion Post #444 conducted military honors at the funeral
chapel on Monday at 3:30 p.m. Immediately following the memorial service
the family invited friends to join them for fellowship and a luncheon in
the Harrington Gathering Room, located at the funeral chapel. Interment
will take place in the Laona Cemetery in Laona, Wisconsin.

Another Class of 1966 alumni has been discovered to have passed away.
HOFFMAN ESTATES - Lawrence R. Knaack, 68, died May 23, 2015. Born April
25, 1947, he was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving the
Army. He had worked as a manager in
art supply He was the son of the late Roland and Lillian Knaack; brother
of Barbara Adams, James (Karen) and Robert Knaack; uncle of Chris and
Julie Adams, Jeremy and Bradley Knaack; and uncle to great-nieces and
nephews. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 7:30
p.m. Wednesday, at the Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road, Rolling

I’m sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news
again. The death of another
‘66 classmate was discovered by Jay Trunda.
Susan Teski Mosior passed away back on May 20, 2007.
The following is her obituary:

Susan Jane Teski was born on October 8, 1948 in
Chicago, IL to Henry J. Teski and Jane S. (Brania) Teski.
Sue graduated from Wheeling High School in
Wheeling, IL, and then dedicated the remainder of her life as an X-Ray
Technician, working throughout the United States. Susan settled in
Sioux Falls, SD, where she provided excellent care to cancer patients at
Medical X-Ray, Sioux Valley Hospital and the residents at Waterford at All
Saints.
Her parents, Henry J. Teski and Jane S. (Brania)
Teski preceded her in death.
Grateful for having shared her life are her loving
sister and brother, Mary Ann Shelton and her husband, Jim, of Sanford, FL,
and James Teski and his wife, Rose Ann, of Port Orange, FL. She was
also the loving aunt to Liza Jane (Ramos) Cook, of Plainfield, IL, Amanda
Sue (Ramos) Rodriguez, of Orlando, FL, Scott Teski, of Port Orange, FL,
and Laurel (Teski) Webb, of Savannah, GA. Sue was also a great aunt
to Julienne and Elaina Cook (Liza’s children). Susan’s aunt,
Lorraine Zielinski of Niles, IL, also survives her.
Sue also had good friends and neighbors that
survived her; Nancy Koller, of Sioux Falls, SD, David and Rita Timmer, of
Sioux Falls, SD, and John and Sarah Pater, of Sioux Falls, SD. |

peacefully Saturday, May 9, 2015, at home surrounded by his family. He was

BEILFUSS Ralph H. Beilfuss, age 63, Sunday, May 20, 2012 in Columbus. He
was retired from Lucent Technologies and worked at Metro Parks. He is
survived by his wife, Marcia; son, James; grandchildren, Dominic and
Sullivan. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Contributions

As the Class of 1966 50th reunion committee is doing searhes for missing
classmates and verifications of the existing address data, they are sadly
finding out that some of their classmates have passed away since their
last reunion. So as a result there will unfortunately be more '66 alums
joining the in memorium list. Sadly some passed away several years ago. This is the latest one :-( RON GOSELL - 1948 - 2013 Visitation for Ron Gosell, 64, will be Thursday, Nov. 21, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect. He will be lying in state Friday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 1624 W. Euclid, Mount Prospect. Interment private. Born Nov. 22, 1948, he passed away Nov. 19, 2013. I was also informed today that Jill Benson Herz passed away. I have been
unable to find an obituary for her, so I don't have any details or actual
date that Jill passed away. Jill has a brother, Jack is also a WHS
alumni and also a member of the class of 1966.

Jill I. Herz, (Benson), died on March 7, 2015 at the age of 67 after battling COPD. Jill worked as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) at numerous hospitals. Jill was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Victor Frank Herz, her loving parents, LaVerne Irene (Andersen) and Bernard Benson and dear brother-in-law, Robert Herz. Jill is survived by her twin brother, Jack (Sue) Benson, loving sister, Donna Lee Carol Benson, her loving daughter, Kimberly (Craig) Cooksey, loving son, Steven Andrew Herz, two cherished grandchildren, Toni Rose and Austin Victor Herz, nephew, Michael Herz, and nieces, Dawn Martin and June Springer. .

A memorial
visitation for Linda Cotterell (nee Gaydo) will be held Thursday, Aug.
9, from 5 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. at the
Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at
Barrington Road), Streamwood/ Schaumburg. Cremation was private at the
Countryside Crematory. Born April 30, 1947, in Chicago,
Linda died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012.
She was the beloved mother of Wesley (Donna) Busse, Carl (Lisa) Busse,
David (Heather) Cotterell, Nicole and Ashley Williams; proud
grandmother of seven; and dear sister of one brother and two sisters.

PALATINE - Wayne Ellis Justy was born on August 4, 1948 in Chicago
to George and Dorathy (nee Becker) Justy. He died Monday,
September 14, 2015 in Palatine. Mr. Justy worked as a Bulk Mail
Technician for USPS for over 30 years and served in the Navy
during the
Vietnam War. Wayne is survived by his wife Marie (nee Harchut)
Justy; his sons, Joel and Tanner Justy; grandchildren, Lucas and
Logan Justy; and his brothers, Donald (Judy) Hosp, Marvin (Denise)
Hosp and Nicholas (Ann) Hosp. He was preceded in death by his
parents. Visitation from 3 pm until 9 pm, Wednesday, September 16,
2015 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights
