Here is what William had to say, "I live on a farm on the St. Joseph river in Southwest Michigan and commute to Chicago where I am a tower-crane operator building skyscrapers. In my spare time, I travel or gunkhole around the Americas in my sloop, VEVONA. I would enjoy hearing from old classmates."

Marjorie offered these details, "I was married to a graduate of Prospect class of '67 for nearly 30 years (am I really that old???) and we have three children ages 31, 26, and 24. We have 4 grandchildren, all girls. It took me many years to decide to try college, since high school was so difficult, and after discovering the secret to learning (for me, I went on to earn not only my AA from Harper, but a BSW in '97 and an MSW in '98. I was selected to study abroad during the summer between graduations and spent 4 weeks in London comparing the welfare systems of London and Chicago. I am now divorced, but the family is still strong. I joined DCFS as a caseworker right out of U of I and 6 months ago left the State of Illinois to work in a private hospital. I continue to learn more about myself and others every day. Since high school was a time of great awkwardness and fragile feelings for me, I have few good memories of my 4 years at Wheeling. I made some great friends but don't know where they are now. I guess I am hoping to find some of them on one of these websites."

03/11/2001	I decided to change the handling of those on the PENDING list. To be moved from the Lost List to the PENDING list, I had to have found an alumni's listing on Classmates.com, or Alumni.net, or Highschoolalumni.com, or have been given contact information from another source. I would put PENDING as their address and that would take them off the MISSING list. However I found that many people didn't respond to e-mails sent to them from Classmates.com or other sources, so I've decided to implement a new rule of thumb. I will keep names in the PENDING list for 3 months. If they do not respond in that time, their PENDING status will be removed and they will go back on the missing list. I don't want to be misleading with the number of people who are found. I will publish a separate table of those on the PENDING list on the same page as the Missing List from now on.
