Ilona M. Douville, age 72, of Sheboygan, died on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at her home. She was born in Germany on July 26, 1950, the daughter of the late Edward and Irmgard Trice Mueller.

She attended local schools in Wheeling, Illinios, and graduated from Wheeling High School. Ilona was united in marriage to Gregory Douville on September 12, 1992. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2017. She was the Lead Housekeeper at Aurora Memorial Medical Center for many years, and at the new Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan.

Ilona enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting, cooking German food, and watching the Hallmark Channel. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Survivors include her two daughters, Shannon (Rob) Schnitzler, of Marshfield, and Britt (Matt Trudgeon) Herrera, of Sheboygan; a son, Ian (fiancée Katie Pheifer) Lorge, of Howards Grove; grandchildren, Brandon, Gregory, Brady, Andrew, Justin, Austin, and Kade; two great-grandchildren, Jesse and Levi; a sister, Rosemarie Hoss, of Palatine, IL; and her two nephews, Mike and Mark Hoss, both of IL. Other relatives and friends further survive her. Ilona was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a granddaughter, Anna Herrera.

A visitation for Ilona will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan.

08/16/2022 I regret to have to post the passing of Mildred "Micki" L. Tedford Frauzzi '68. Her brother in law, John Faruzzi '72 first posted Micki's passing on Facebook.

Micki Faruzzi, had been married to Richard Faruzzi '68, who passed away on 11/07/2012. Micki is survived by her older sister Vicki Tedord Werle '66.

06/27/2022 Another loss of a 1968 alumni was reported today. James Sky Felt passed away probably on 06/21/2022 as reported by his younger sister Lani Felt Kraus '69.

This was Lani's post on Facebook this morning:
"My brother Sky passed away last week. Probably Tuesday evening, but he wasn't found until Saturday. He was very knowledgeable, brilliant, and a great artist, but had a hard time using his gifts to improve his life. We will not have a funeral, but I will be burying his cremains with our parents in Baldwin. I pray he is at peace."

04/15/2022 Linda Sue Walker passed away on 04/15/2022. This sad information was sent to me by Linda's younger sister Carol Walker Birdsall '70 and Linda's younger brother Thomas Walker '72. I have no other details at this time with regard to funeral arrangements or a celebration of life. As soon as get any details I will get that information posted here and on Facebook

01/23/2022 I was informed by Steven Sackett '68 that Michael Stephen Redenbaugh passed away on January 4, 2022. I have no other details at this time. During high school Michael played with the group Sound Dimension with Gary Hansen '69 and Gary Hansen's older brother (not a WHS grad), and Steve Eng. To the best of my knowledge Michael was living in North Richland, TX at the time of his death. No other details are available at this time.

01/21/2022 I'm sorry to report that James "Jimmy" E. Olsen passed away on January 14th, 2022. He was living in North Ft. Myers, FL at the time of his death. No obituary has been posted as yet. The family has arranged for cremation. Jimmy has a younger sister Wendy Olsen who is a WHS Class of 1970 alumni.

I saw in a post in the Wheeling High School Alumni group that Dan R. Carter '68 passed away in August 2021. The post, shown in the attached picture, appears to be from Dan's wife Jan(et). Dan didn't have a senior picture in the 1968 LAIR. I did scan his junior year picture from the 1967 LAIR yearbook
