Wheeling High School Class of 1968 News for 2011

Albert Lenon Lieupo, loving husband, father, son, brother, and "P-Paw", 61, passed away November 4, 2011, in Richmond, VA.

He was born in Wilmington, Delaware and employed as a Security Manager with GSTEK. Albert accomplished much in his life, but was most proud of his family; graduating Magna Cum Laude from St. Leo College; and retiring from the US Navy after 22 years of service and several commendations as a Senior Chief Petty Officer.

He was active within the community, an avid golfer, and enjoyed playing and coaching all sports-especially baseball and softball.

Albert is survived by his wife, Margaret (Maggie); children, Kristin Moore and Paul, Virginia Beach, VA and Kelly Lieupo, Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Nickolas and Amiee Moore, Virginia Beach, VA; father, Jack Lieupo; and sisters, Beth Cooper, San Diego CA, Linda Duffley, Livermore, CA, and Amy Paxson, Mesa, AZ.

A memorial service will be held at Community United Methodist Church, 1072 Old Kempsville Road in Virginia Beach, on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, and condolences may be made to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Sad news for the WHS Class of 1968. Wednesday evening August 30 after a hard fought battle with liver cancer we lost John Freismuth class of '68.

Lynda Rupert Seitzinger passed away in 2007. I was provided this information my Lynda's son who I discovered here on Facebook (Christopher Seitzinger). Lynda had been married to Larry Seitzinger '68.
