Wheeling High School Class of 1968 News for 2013

Sorrow strikes the class of 1968 this time. Werner "Wally" Sneider passed away recently on August 7, 2013. I have no further details at this time. A memorial service is supposed to happen on Friday, 08/16/2013, but I have no confirmation of that or time or place. Wally has a younger brother Bob Sneider '71. Wally did not have a senior picture in the yearbook. When/if I get details about the memorial service I will post them here. Rest in Peace Wally.

Sad news to pass along. WHS chemistry teacher Lewis Bowles passed away on March 2, 2013.

I have some more belated sad news. Clinton E. Brown '68 passed away from cancer on May 11, 2007. Clinton had 3 brothers that are also WHS alumni. John M. Brown '69, Glenn Howard Brown '71 (Deceased) and Gregory A. Brown '74.
Rest in Peace Clinton.
