Art Ekberg sent along these pictures with these comments:

Hi Guys,

Cathy found these old prints and I scanned them in (pardon the quality, they are not in the best of shape).  I thought I'd send them out while we all could still enjoy them. I look at the kids in these pictures and sometimes it feels like only hours ago (How did the time pass so quickly?).  I look again and they seem to call from eons ago, maybe even like they were just the characters in a movie I saw a long time ago. Christ!, we're almost 60, when these photos were taken 30 seemed like science fiction, "What, me worry?".  I still feel 18 inside but my body screams 75. Over the years we have all drifted apart.  However, the bond we developed in those reckless and absolutely wonderful days stays with us each forever.  Each one of us is a part of what makes the others all unique individuals and the spirit of that rowdy group will live until we all have passed. I would not trade one memory of those days, good or bad, for any amount of wealth or gain.  Sometimes I wonder if when our time comes maybe Cathy and I will ride a dayglow painted Falcon through the backstreets of the hereafter. Mike Alsup, Art Ekberg, Steve Engh, Bob Koch, Mike Krysh and Jay McGary, the guys.  Now apart, but the figures in some of the fondest memories that I have. I wonder what Mike Alsup is up to nowadays. Cleveland, I'm sorry I broke down on Sunday when I was talking to you, however it did give me cause to sit back and compose this email.  I hope this says what I couldn't then.  I'm glad to have known you and you may rest assured that you will live on as a fond part of all of our memories.

Adieu old friend,   Art
