02/21/2017 James Donal Monroe, passed away on February 21/2017. I wasn't informed until 01/12/2024.

Jim Monroe, 67 of Marshall, MO doied Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia Mo. Born october 7, 1949, in Hazel Crest, IL, Jim was the son of the late Donald George Monroe and Dorothy E Laverty Monroe who survives of Marshall. H was a 1968 graduate of Wheeling High School in Wheeling, IL, and served in the U.S. Navy veteran from 1968 to 1972. Jim lived in Marshal since 1978 where he managed Ivy Haven Motel. He was a member of the First United Methodis Church and Malta Ben American Legion Post 558. He was also a member of the Bass Club, Wednesday Night Poker, and an avid golfer, spending lots of tiem at the Indian Foothills Golf Course.

01/24/2017 Much belated, sad news has come to light. James F. Vrechek passed away on May 7, 2014. I can not find an obituary for Jim on line. The last address I had for Jim was Honolulu, HI. I have no other Vrechek's in the database. I believe Jim's younger siblings went to Hersey. Jim had been married to Karen Huebner '68. Karen passed away on 03/15/1989.
