08/07/2015 Bob Thorud I just found out that Bob Thorud '68 passed away yesterday 08/07/2015. Information was provided by Bob's younger sister Karen who attended WHS and was part of the class of 1973. Rest in Peace Bob.

  Dave Powell It's happened again :-(, The class of 1968 has lost another classmate, Dave Powell passed way last August. I was not able to find an obituary or the exact date. Dave's older brother Jeff is a '66 WHS alumni.  Rest in Peace Dave.

03/16/2015 I'm sorry Another '68 alumni has passed away. Norman Hogman succomed to cancer.  Norm was never married. He lived in Oconto Falls, WI.  Norm's twin brother Mark, also a '68 WHS alumni resides in Tripoli, WI.  I have no email address for Mark.  No information is avaiable about funeral or celebration of life plans.  Norm did not have a senior picture in the yearbook.  I was uneable to find any obituary for Norman in the Wisconsin papers or in the Daily Herald.  Rest in Peace Norm.
02/10/2015 Bill Gorski I’m sorry to have to report that Bill Gorski passed away on 02/10/2015 after suffering a heart attack.  Bill was residing in Florida.  I have no information about any funeral or celebration of life events.  Bill’s younger sister Barbara is a Class of 1971 WHS grad.  Here is what Barb posted on Facebook...

Obituary for Rev William E Gorski

Reverend William E. Gorski Lundell, Born September 2nd, 1950 in Chicago Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on February 10th, 2015. He was a graduate of Augustana College, Rock Island Illinois. Bill is a graduate of the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. Bill was the Pastor of Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Elgin IL, Missionary in Santiago Chile for 20 years, Pastor of the Good Shepard Lutheran Church. He Worked as Secretary and Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chile. He was a champion for Human Rights. He worked in the Committee for Peace in Santiago Chile for the time he resided in the country. He was a resident of Florida since 1996 involved in various business ventures always keeping an involvement with his local parish. He was a kind and gentle man. Bill loved his faith, family, and friends deeply. He could bring life to a party and in sad times he knew exactly what to say and do. He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Lois Gorski and Brother Scott Gorski. He is survived by his wife Cynthia, daughters Amanda and Rebecca and granddaughters Isidora, Jade and Mackenzie. Sister Barbara Gorski, Brother Mark Gorski and family. A memorial service celebrating his life is being planned for March 21st, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Largo Florida. “Well done thou good and faithful servant" Matthew 25:23 www.mossfeasterclearwater.com

I’m sorry to have to report that Bob Koch ’68 passed away  on January 25th of this year.  Bob had been living in Montana.  I was provided this sad news by Jay McGary ’68.  Here is the short obituary that appeared for Bob: 

“KOCH, Robert H., 64, of Helena, husband of Kristina, passed away Jan. 25, 2015. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. A college fund for his sons, Alex and Hunter, has been set up at Valley Bank.”
