Update from Bill Freddo, "I'm still working as General Manager of a power plant in Providence, RI. New England has proven to be a great place to live and raise a family. We moved here from Woodridge IL over 18 years ago. My son Chris is 14, daughter Sarah is nearly 13. Found! Christine Fuller Plott. Christine and her husband Jeff and doggie Auggie live in Salinas, CA. Chris had this to day, " Graduated from WIU many, many, many years ago. Currently I work in a hospital and live in foggy Monterey County with my husband and our dog Auggie. Love playing with Auggie, gardening, bird watching and needlework when I can find the time. We love to go for walks and just listen to the ocean. We're surrounded by artichoke and strawberry fields and just a few minutes from the water. Unfortunately I won't be able to come to the 'Mega-Reunion' that will be held in conjunction with Homecoming 2001 on October 12th. Maybe the 35th reunion of the class of 70." | ||||||||

Found Marilyn Hale Lanners Wabs through Classmates.com. Marilyn and her husband Donovan live in Oregon City, Oregon. Marilyn had this to say, "Myke is my nickname, and I got the name in high school, but it really didn't "stick" until after school. I liked the name, so I just kept it, and changed the spelling. I moved back to Oregon in '93. I am originally from here. I was married for 27 years, but divorced in '98. ... I was just remarried 8 months ago. My husband's name is Donovan Wabs... I work out of my house most of the time. I am a commercial real estate loan officer. I have one son by my first marriage. His name is Brad, and he just turned 21. I now have 2 other grown children through my marriage to Donovan, and 3 grandchildren! WOW! Not bad for not even being 50! Ha!". [157]. | ||||||||

Found Cliff Stech. Cliff is living in Stillman Valley, IL. Here is what Cliff had to say, "I married in 1974 to Rhonda Lamb of Rockford, IL. We have three girls: Michelle, Jennifer, Jessica. I'm still playing with cars, have 1939 Ford and 1971 Chevelle. I sell hot rod race car parts as a hobby, go to meets all over the US. Not to much change for me just went from 130lbs to 190lbs and hair is getting grayer-girls you know! All moved out except for one. She's 20 this labor day. I decided to change the handling of those on the PENDING list. To be moved from the Lost List to the PENDING list, I had to have found an alumni's listing on Classmates.com, or Alumni.net, or Highschoolalumni.com, or have been given contact information from another source. I would put PENDING as their address and that would take them off the MISSING list. However I found that many people didn't respond to e-mails sent to them from Classmates.com or other sources, so I've decided to implement a new rule of thumb. I will keep names in the PENDING list for 3 months. If they do not respond in that time, their PENDING status will be removed and they will go back on the missing list. I don't want to be misleading with the number of people who are found. I will publish a separate table of those on the PENDING list on the same page as the Missing List from now on. |
