Back to Florida for Robert Kane "Just moved back to Florida from Las Vegas. Was running a Jaguar/Porsche dealership in Vegas but hated the weather. I have two children Ian 17, and Candace 15.  I remembered when I was a freshman and in gym class, Gary Krueger (67) was our Senior leader and I was walking in the field house on the way to play basketball, and I was gawking at Kris Millay across the floor when I walked right into a volley ball pole, cut my forehead open on one of the bolts sticking out of it! I laugh now about it, but it really hurt at the time. Gary saw what happened and wrapped my head in a towel. A nice guy who could have just laughed at me like the rest of the people who saw what happened"

07/08/2002 Richard Will News update from Richard Will, "Well, I finally have some time to fill in what I've been up to since June, 1970. I'm currently working at Harper College in Palatine as Manager of the Media Services Department. We provide video production and support services for classroom instruction, audio and video support for special events, satellite down link and cable broadcast services, technical support for distance learning via interactive videoconferencing and a host of other things. I've been at Harper for fifteen years and will be retiring in another five to move on to other adventures. Prior to Harper I served in the Navy from 1973 to 1987 on active duty as a photographer, cinematographer, videographer and instructor, finishing up in the reserves in '93. Along the way I was stationed all across the country at a couple of photo labs, a patrol squadron, USS Eisenhower, Combat Camera Group Pacific and at the Navy Photo School. During this time I finished up my degree in Vocational Education from SIU (while stationed in San Diego) and in 1977 got married to the former Lauretta Kearns (WHS class of '71). We'll have our 25th anniversary in October. Lauretta is returning to teaching this year after many years in the corporate education and training field (most of it at Kemper Insurance Co. in Long Grove). She started out teaching after graduating from Loyola U. and taught everything from 6th grade up to college level as we moved around the country courtesy of the Navy. I'm looking forward to making one of the next reunions or Homecomings and catching up further with old classmates."
