I just received this private message through FB from Richard Johnsen’s younger sister Melody Johnsen Wargo.

Hi Gary, this is Melody Johnsen Wargo. I just want to let you know my brother Richard (Rick) Johnsen passed away on March 22 2018 . He was on Kidney dialysis and had complication after open heart surgery on December 5th. He fought as much as he could. He was WHS class of 1967. Wake is Tuesday March 27th and service at funeral home at 10am on March 28th. I posted obituary on my page. Thank you if you would share this with WHS Alumni.

Rich has two younger brothers who graduated from WHS. Wayne A. Johnsen ’69 and Keith T. Johnsen ’75.  By my records Rich was married to ’71 alumni Nancy Gable.

 Rest in peace now Rich.
