Rosemary Ann Withaeger, 69, of Lincoln Park and formerly of Arlington Heights, at rest December 6, 2018. Loving sister of Linda Sikorski and the late Edwin L. Withaeger Jr. Cherished aunt of Eddie (Nicole) Withaeger, Joshua Sikorski, and Michelle Sikorski. Great aunt of Kale, Gavin and Grant. Beloved daughter of the late Edwin L. Sr. and Marjorie. Retired airline flight attendant for Northwest Airlines & Registered Nurse at Northwestern Community Hospital. Deacon at Fourth Presbyterian Church. Frequent worldwide traveler who especially enjoyed her times in Paris. A celebration of her life to be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 4:00 pm at Fourth Presbyterian Church located at 126 E Chestnut St, Chicago, IL 60611.

I have some sad news for the WHS class of 1967. Jill Parsons Less-Graham passed away today 04/14/2019. Jill was just about a week away from her 70th birthday. Jill succumbed to Acute Myeloid Leukemia (ALM) at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. Jill had been married to Chuck Less who didn't not go to WHS. Jill and Chuck had 3 children together. Sorry to have to inform that Marti L. Roberts Drase, passed away February 20, 2019. This information came to me from her younger sister Jackie Roberts Walendmyer '69. Jackie told me that it was very sudden. Marti had to have brain surgery for an infection and never made it out of surgery. Jackie also told me that her younger sister who graduated from BGHS passed away in June of 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

Marti was born on October 3, 1949 and passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

Marti was a resident of North Aurora, Illinois at the time of passing.

Memorial services will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

I was informed today by Claudia Kniskern Jervey '67, that Kathleen Ellish Markl passed away two years ago on January 28, 2017. Kathleen has a younger brother Jay Ellish who graduated in 1969. Here is Kathleen’s obituary:

Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights, IL. 60004 Remembrance Service: Saturday Feb 4, 2017. Our Saviour Evangelical Free Church, 300 N Schoenbeck Rd, Wheeling, IL 60090 Visitation: 9:30 to 11 AM. The class of 1967 has lost another member. Lester 'Les' Alan Turner, passed away on November 6, 2018. I was provided this information by Carol Kuhl Besenhofer '68. He died at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY of natural causes. Les didn't have a senior picture in the yearbook. The picture to the left is his junior year picture. Lester "Les" Alan Turner

Lester "Les" Alan Turner, age 69, of Cadiz, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Baptist Health Paducah. Mr. Turner worked as a warehouseman at Ebonite in Hopkinsville for a number of years. He was also former owner of the Wildcat Saloon in Gracey.

He is survived by one son, Mitchell Turner (Jacob York) of Nashville, Tennessee; two daughters, Violet Egan of Barlow, Kentucky, and Hillary Turner Kovatovich of Cave Creek, Arizona; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stone and Jacob Egan; and one sister, Elaine Van Dellen of Littleton, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Cherry Lamb Turner.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, is in care of arrangements.
