Update from Barry Parsons. Here is what Barry wanted to share: "I am living in central WI. My wife Debbie and I raise horses on 28 acres. Deb gives lessons and trains horses, we also have 4 breeding stallions. Who would have thought I'd have horses? Most of the "67" class probably don't know me as I had quit school the year before and moved to CA. I moved back to Wheeling and went back to school and did graduate with the Class of "67". I had 5 children from a previous marriage,4 daughters and 1 son. I've got 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons."

Found Don Preisler (76) listed at Classmates.com. Wrote to him to ask if he was the younger brother of Gail Preisler He concurred with my supposition and told me that Gail is an artist living in a PO Box in the small town of Dripping Spring, TX outside of Austin.

David P. McAlister turned himself in and is given amnesty from the missing list. He even was kind (brave?) enough to send a recent picture: Here is what David had so offer up, "This is Dave McAlister, long out of contact and among the "missing". Stumbled upon classmates.com, leading me to the WHS web page and all the info posted. Really good to see all of the work that you have done and to catch up some; must admit that I had lost contact long ago with most. I live in Bloomington, IL (not that far SW, between Chi and StL) and have since finishing college in '76--came down here to get MA in sociology and have settled in. Presently working various odd jobs from construction and painting to landscaping and personal service after being downsized sometime ago. I am trying to enjoy many different things like computers, gardening, a slower paced rat race, many friends, etc. Always single, never married, and have no children--would love to get back on the list and kept posted as to news and events. Thanks much, take care, and hope to hear from you and/or others soon." The class of '72 missing list is now down to 242.

Received first e-mail from Donna Orris Starr. Here is what Donna had to say: "I really only went there the one year, and graduated in my junior year. Didn't hardly know a soul, and I doubt anyone remembers me at all. I really didn't blend in with the WHS crowd. I went to NIU (DeKalb) for one year, and moved away to Colorado to live with buddies in a mountain commune, (we were SO COOL!), and I've lived in Colorado ever since. Worked as a florist, bartender, mail carrier (2nd woman letter carrier in Boulder!), catalog company owner, campaign office manager, Real Estate Broker, and now on to my next incarnation, returning to my art background, via computer graphic arts. Very happily married, 2 sons (14 & 19), live NW of Denver. Just earned a another college degree in Interactive Multimedia Computer Graphic Arts, beginning to search for employment in that field now." Missing list is now at 245.

Bert Newman is living in Evans, GA now. His older brother Jay (68) provided this information: "He is a High School Teacher and has a PhD in Health Education. He played Baseball in the Chicago Cubs organization, coached at SIU for a few years and then taught Health at Augusta College in GA before taking his present position with the Augusta City Schools....I think he would really like to hear from some of his old High School friends."

News from Mary McCall Miller : "I am physical therapist married to a former marine (Vietnam vet) who is REALLY into computers big time! We moved to New Port Richey primarily because of the weather. My husband's in a wheelchair and that snow up north was a real drag. We love it down here, though I don't get much of a chance to snow ski, which is my absolute favorite thing to do. I also like to rollerblade - in fact I'm getting ready to go out now for my usual Saturday morning trek."
