Sorry to have to report that Jim Poteracki passed
away over the Thanksgiving weekend. Jim was
married to
Cindy Hunt '74.
Jim didn't have a senior picture in the yearbook
so the picture is his junior year picture.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been
forthcoming.
Rest in Peace Jim.

I'm so saddened to report that WHS's first marching band director, Dean R
DePoy, passed away 06/11/2020 in FL. Here is a message one of his sons, Kurt Depoy.

Steven J. Stiller passed away on Sunday
(03/08/2020. Steve's younger sister Susan Stiller '73 is also a WHS grad.
Steve's wife Karen Linneweh '73 is also a WHS alumni. Here's what his son Steven posted. On Saturday evening, my dad fell walking into my parents home, hitting his head on the pavement leading to the house. He had severe brain damage and was put on life support. On Sunday evening, my mom, my uncle Jim and I decided it was best that we allow my dad to pass. He was a tremendous man who touched many, from his days in Wheeling, to his goings on in Wauconda, and his work which he also loved and was proud of. My dad was a man that put more into all that he did than was expected or necessary. I am proud to call him my dad.
