11/25/2021 Albert J. Lang Albert J. Lang '72, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2021. The following is his obituary from Legacy.com

Albert J. Lang, a loving and caring father of three sons Deon, Ahkeem and Tony, a brother to seven, a son and a friend to many... passed away on Thanksgiving day 11/25/21, surrounded by his family. He passed away while fighting cancer in the summer of 2021. Albert J. Lang was born on 09/07/54, he was the third oldest out of seven siblings. He never married but he adopted, raised, and saved three amazing sons. He lived in Chicago most of his life and while in Chicago he started his own travel agency. He loved to travel and has visited nearly every continent bringing along his sons. After working in the travel agency, he later became a science teacher, teaching 7-8 grade and his students and staff loved him.

He lived by example, he was a determined and a hard worker, who loved to go on bike rides and long walks with his dogs who he loved so much, earned multiple certificates and master degrees in education, graduated from Loyal University in Chicago. He raised three sons all by himself. He made a lot of friends from all over the world, he was a caring and loving brother and a wonderful father who literally showed and exposed the world to his three sons. His sons will continue to honor him every single day. He will be missed by all."
