suddenly this morning. There is a

Sorry gang,
but another Class of 1972 alumni passing has been brought to
my attention.
Cal
Chany II,
'72 passed away October 14, 2016
I knew Cal
over the last 30 years or so. We shared a lot of memories of
our lives and about our times at WHS. Many may not remember
that Cal was the drum major in the marching band at WHS.
Cal
even dedicated time to helping me with the WHS alumni website
by scanning in all the Class of 1972 senior pictures.
Cal has at least one sibling that attended WHS, and that would
be his younger sister Anita Chany Donoghue '72 of Mt.
Prospect. I believe Cal has a brother
Fred Chany
and another sister.
Cal you
will be deeply missed and you were loved by so many. Thank you
for your service to our country in the US Marine Corps. Semper
Fi!
