I saw on a message from Greg Kieca ’73 on Facebook that Robert M Hoss passed away on November 15, 2018. Unfortunately, Robert didn’t have a senior picture in the yearbook. Here is his obituary:

July 4, 1954 - November 15, 2018
Robert M. Hoss, 64, of Palatine, IL. Beloved husband of Rosemarie, nee Mueller. Proud father of Michael and Mark Hoss. Loving son of Lois and the late Melvin Hoss. Dear brother of Michael (Kathy) Hoss, Rick (Karen) Hoss, Vicki (Frank) Johnson and Jim (Jill) Hoss. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert’s name to Brotherhood For The Fallen, 5830 S. Sayre, Chicago, IL 60638. Funeral Service Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 3 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. A visitation will follow from 3:30-9 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

I’m sorry to relay this sad information, Chuck Maniatis ’72 passed away on May 22, 2018. He was living in Deltona, FL.  He was a former animal trainer at Sea World Orlando (1980-1985).  He was born on September 11, 1953.  His Facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/chuck.maniatis if you’d like to leave condolences.  His younger sister, Katherine Maniatis Pastorello is a WHS Class of 1974 alumni.  Her Facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/katherine.pastorello, again if you’d like to offer up your condolences.  I have not found an obituary posted for Chuck in the Deltona, FL newspaper.  I have no information about a wake or funeral arrangements.
