Sharon B. Tuohey lifelong
resident of Wheeling Funeral services for Sharon B.
Tuohey (nee Tynis), 49, will be held at 11 a.m.
Wednesday, at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee
Ave. (two blocks south of Dundee Road), Wheeling.
Born Dec. 9, 1953, in Wheeling, she passed away
Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, after a long and courageous
battle with lung and brain cancer. Interment will be
held privately. Mrs. Tuohey was a very dedicated,
longtime Walgreen's employee. Sharon is survived by
her loving husband, Kevin; sons, Sean Tuohey and
Alan (Dory Stone) Tuohey; brothers, Walter and David
(Karen) Tynis; sister, Sandra (George) Buhr; mother-
and father-in-law, John and Joyce Tuohey; and many
nieces and nephews. She also leaves her two cats,
Spoochna and Baby. Visitation will be from 3 to 9
p.m. today, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers,
per Sharon's request, memorial donations may be made
to the American Lung Association of Chicago, 1440 w.
Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607; or to the
American Cancer Society (Brain Cancer Research), 777
